Inner Alliance of Self

2 Kings 3:7 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 2 Kings 3 in context

Scripture Focus

7And he went and sent to Jehoshaphat the king of Judah, saying, The king of Moab hath rebelled against me: wilt thou go with me against Moab to battle? And he said, I will go up: I am as thou art, my people as thy people, and my horses as thy horses.
2 Kings 3:7

Biblical Context

Two kings discuss joining forces against Moab. Jehoshaphat agrees, pledging that their people and horses are as his own.

Neville's Inner Vision

Notice how the outward call to alliance mirrors an inner invitation. The king's appeal to Jehoshaphat is not merely about soldiers; it is a vibration of agreement in consciousness. To say 'I will go up; I am as thou art' is to identify with a state of loyalty already present within you. The Moab outside represents a situation you judge rebellious to your will; your inner army—your people, your horses—symbolize the faculties of your awareness yoked to a single purpose. In Neville’s method, God is I AM, the awareness that unites divided parts when you align with one dominant inner state. When you consent to fight 'with' the other king, you are choosing to fuse two faculties into one impression, one imagined outcome. Your task is to feel as though the whole kingdom of you believes this alliance is natural, inevitable, and beneficial. The outer event reflects an inner agreement made in imagination, a covenant of loyalty that dissolves conflict by making it one will, one kingdom, under the I AM.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Assume 'I am one with my higher Self' and feel it real now. Then imagine all your inner faculties moving forward in unity toward a single, harmonious purpose.
