Valley Ditches: Music & Manifestation
2 Kings 3:15-16 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read 2 Kings 3 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
A minstrel is brought in. When he plays, the Lord's hand comes upon the prophet and a command follows: make this valley full of ditches.
Neville's Inner Vision
To the seeker, 2 Kings 3:15-16 is not a history to be studied but a map of your inner kingdom. The minstrel is not a man with a harp outside you; he is the rhythm of your own feelings—gratitude, expectancy, and trust—allowed to play within the temple of your mind. When that harmony arises, the hand of the LORD—the I AM that you are—descends upon your awareness, and a clear word is given: make this valley full of ditches. A valley is a sense of lack or open space; ditches are mental channels you dig to receive rain—the spontaneous supply of God that is already yours. Obedience is alignment with the inner word; faith is the firm belief that what you demand is already present in the unseen. Do not chase external signs; cultivate the inner soil until the divine presence pours through. The moment you assume the feeling of the finished provision—that your valley is full and the rain is coming—you witness a shift in your outer world, just as the scripture promises.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and invite a minstrel into your inner room; as the music rises, feel the hand of the LORD upon your awareness and declare that the valley is full of ditches. Rest in the felt sense that the rain is already coming and observe how your inner state begins to align with that reality.
