2 Kings 3:13-14 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Elisha refuses to align with the outward king’s fear and points to the inner allegiance that governs action. The true power arises when one honors the inner presence that stands before the I AM.
Neville's Inner Vision
Verse 13–14 invites us to see that the scene is not about politics but about consciousness in action. Elisha, the awake witness, faces the outward king and asks in effect, What have I to do with this state unless it is joined by the faithful inner presence? He anchors in the I AM, declaring, As the LORD of hosts liveth, before whom I stand. The three kings are inner pressures seeking to deliver you into fear or lack, but their power dissolves the moment you regard Jehoshaphat—the faithful inner state—as your true companionship. When that presence is acknowledged, you cease consulting outward authority and turn toward the Source. The outer crisis then shifts to reflect your inner alignment; the event bows to your I AM. Thus the verse teaches that your state of consciousness determines what occurs outside; cultivate the inner alignment, and the world must follow.
Practice This Now
Assume you are Elisha, the standing I AM within; declare, I will look only to the inner presence, not to outward fear. Then feel the assurance of Jehoshaphat’s faithful light guiding your next move.
