The passage describes the two brass pillars and the bases of the temple, noting their height and ornate decoration.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within the temple of your mind, the two pillars and their bases are not mere objects of brass, but fixed states of consciousness you grant to stand in you. The brass without weight proclaims a truth that cannot be toppled by fear, doubt, or time—your I AM, steady and unmovable. The height of the pillars and their chapiters invites expansion: you are called to elevate your sense of self, to dwell more fully in awareness and in the presence that is always already within. The wreathen work and pomegranates symbolize the patterns and fruits of imagination you permit in worship—rich ideas, harmonious desires, and the outcomes that crown a life aligned with divine order. The second pillar mirrors the first, suggesting your inner life has balance: your outer world reflects the harmony of your inner posture. When you cease seeking God externally and acknowledge Him as the I AM within, the Presence fills the temple and holiness becomes your natural state, covenant kept with your highest idea.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, assume the I AM as the central pillar of your mind, and silently declare, 'I am awareness.' Then revise any sense of separation with, 'All is well within me now.'
