Judah's Departure, Inner Sight
2 Kings 23:27 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God declares He will withdraw His sight from Judah, just as He did from Israel. He will cast off the city and the house where He once placed His name.
Neville's Inner Vision
Notice that in your inner world, God is not distant; He is the I AM you awaken to. When the wall of attachment to a beloved tradition or self-image is pulled away, it is not a punishment but a reorganization of your inner kingdom. 'Judah' is your heart’s loyal state, and 'Jerusalem' is the inner city—your sanctuary—where you named God to dwell. The verse speaks of a removal happening within, a shift of attention away from the old temple to a newer alignment with consciousness. If you feel a sense of exile or absence, do not fear. This is your inner turning, a letting go of idols and a return to the truth that God is within, not in a place you cling to. The name of God dwelling in you is not a location on earth but the recognition that I AM, here and now, is the city and the sanctuary. The "casting off" is the clearing of misidentification, opening space for a deeper realization that the divine presence remains, even when your old structures fall away.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Close your eyes, breathe, and revise: I am the Presence within this temple now. Feel the space in your chest expand as you affirm your inner house is indwelt by the I AM.
