Inner Peace for a Tender Heart
2 Kings 22:18-20 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Like Josiah, your inner king hears the divine word with a tender heart. Humility and release align your consciousness, and you are promised peace.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within you, the king is your consciousness, the Josiah of your being, who heard the inner word of God. The words you hear are not external judgments but signals of your state; when your heart is tender and you humble yourself before that inner Lord, you release old beliefs that desolate and curse, and you let the old garments fall—symbolic tears that seal the surrender. In that moment, your inner awareness answers, I have heard thee, and you are assured. The promise is not the avoidance of external calamity but the inner peace that comes when you rest in the truth you have assumed. You will be gathered into thy fathers—into the peaceful end of this present form—while your eye beholds not the coming evils because they melt in the light of your inner alignment. So cultivate now the state: listen to the inner voice; yield to it; and dwell as the one who is already at peace.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and imagine you are the tender heart hearing the inner word. Release fear as you affirm, I hear the Lord in me, and dwell now in the feeling of being gathered into peace.
