Within Babylon, Behold Change

2 Kings 20:17 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 2 Kings 20 in context

Scripture Focus

17Behold, the days come, that all that is in thine house, and that which thy fathers have laid up in store unto this day, shall be carried into Babylon: nothing shall be left, saith the LORD.
2 Kings 20:17

Biblical Context

The verse declares that all that is in your house, and what your fathers laid up, will be carried away, leaving nothing.

Neville's Inner Vision

All that is in thine house shall be carried away—this is not a threat to a nation but a mirror of your own consciousness. The kingdoms of this world are states of mind you inhabit. When the outer wealth or security seems to crumble, you are being invited to release the belief that you are defined by form. Babylon is the dream of separation—the sense that you are cut off from the Source. The days when nothing of the old structure remains to cling to are precisely the invitation to discover the real treasure: your I AM, your uninterrupted awareness. As you cease identifying with circumstance, your inner wealth appears as freedom, clarity, and wholeness. The promise is not an event in the distance but a shift you awaken within: you return to your true self, and the outer shows mirror that inner state.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, place a hand on your chest, and revise: I AM wealth; all I desire is now mine in the I AM. Feel it real by imagining abundance circulating through your consciousness.
