Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Hezekiah prays to the LORD God of Israel, acknowledging the God who dwells between the cherubim as the sole ruler of all kingdoms, creator of heaven and earth.
Neville's Inner Vision
Notice that the scene is not about geography but about the state of your own mind. Hezekiah stands in awareness and calls the God of Israel the one God who rules all kingdoms—the inner kingdoms of thought, will, and feeling—because the true throne sits within your own I AM. When you hold that the divine presence dwells between the cherubim, you are recognizing the two forces of consciousness as guardians of your awareness: attention and faith, perception and power. To pray is to align imagination with I AM, to insist that heaven and earth are already settled within you by this sovereignty. In Neville's terms, you do not petition a distant king but awaken to your own state of consciousness in which every outer event is but a reflection of inner alignment. The verse invites you to acknowledge that there is no power apart from the I AM, and that the world is born from the felt truth of that presence. As you rest in this, your inner kingdoms respond with harmony and order.
Practice This Now
Sit quietly, place a hand on your chest, and repeat: I AM the God of all kingdoms within me; feel the sovereignty as heaven and earth are already established in your awareness. Hold the feeling until it lingers.
