27But Rabshakeh said unto them, Hath my master sent me to thy master, and to thee, to speak these words? hath he not sent me to the men which sit on the wall, that they may eat their own dung, and drink their own piss with you?

Rabshakeh speaks to the listeners in Syriac to avoid alarming the people; the leaders urge him to continue in that language so the crowd on the wall does not understand his threatening words.

Neville's Inner Vision

In the inner theatre, the messenger of doom is fear whispering in a language your outer mind can understand, aimed at the 'people on the wall'—the thoughts in action. Your Eliakim and Joah are the I AM within you, able to demand the speech be conducted in your native language of awareness. When fear's doom-speech arises, you are not bound to translate or believe it. Revise by affirming: this is not my reality; I am the I AM, and I am at peace now. The crowd's roar loses power when you refuse to feed it with belief, because events are inner movements of consciousness. By listening to the inner governor and choosing your true language, you quiet the wall, restore order within, and let the Kingdom of God emerge as your present awareness. The exile is a thought, the return is your steady state of being.
