Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
In 2 Kings 18:25-26 the invader claims the LORD commanded destruction, while the leaders request he speak in Syriac so the people would not hear.
Neville's Inner Vision
Notice that the voice claiming to come from the LORD is not a separate power but your own conditioning, the you that believes it must destroy what it fears. The line 'I come up without the LORD' points to a state of consciousness that forgets the I AM within. The request to speak in Syriac while the people listen to a different tongue is the inner habit of excluding certain truths from your awareness; you pretend some thoughts aren’t for you to hear, while the real guidance speaks in the quiet language of your own feeling of pure being. When you understand that the true influence is your inner state—your assumption of being guided by the I AM—you replace the external decree with a new, benign order: 'I am led by Providence; this situation serves my good.' Your outward 'destruction' becomes a resolving of fear, and the 'language' you hear is the inner voice translating guidance into action. Providence and guidance are not foreign; they are your own I AM alive in every moment, directing you toward wholeness.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Assume the state 'I AM the authority within me; I govern this situation with wisdom and mercy.' Feel it in your chest; then silently listen for inner guidance throughout the day.
