Bones To Birth: Inner Resurrection

2 Kings 13:21 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 2 Kings 13 in context

Scripture Focus

21And it came to pass, as they were burying a man, that, behold, they spied a band of men; and they cast the man into the sepulchre of Elisha: and when the man was let down, and touched the bones of Elisha, he revived, and stood up on his feet.
2 Kings 13:21

Biblical Context

A man is being buried, and they cast him into Elisha's tomb; upon contact with that prophet's bones, he is revived and rises.

Neville's Inner Vision

This is a picture of your inner life. The corpse is the old self—habits, fear, fatigue. The band of men are the outward pressures of your day; Elisha is your inner wisdom—the I AM that remains when the outer forms fall away. The sepulchre is the tomb of limiting belief; the bones are the remnants of truth you still carry as memory. When consciousness, by a single touch, meets those bones, revival occurs. Not in the body but in the state of awareness: life returns because you suddenly recognize that the I AM is always alive. Resurrection is present tense in the moment you remember; you stand up not by force, but by recognizing your state of being has shifted. The power of Elisha lives in you as the I AM; when you touch it, you awaken to a newer life.

Practice This Now

Assume the feeling of revival now. In quiet imagination, touch the bone of your inner Elisha by affirming 'I AM alive now' and let life rise in your body.
