Inside the Baal House
2 Kings 10:21-24 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Jehu gathers all Baal worshippers into the temple, seals Baal-only worship, and removes any who oppose it; the LORD is replaced by Baal in the inner temple.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within you, Jehu is the I AM moving through your mind, gathering every belief that calls itself Baal—the idol of separation. The house of Baal is the inner temple crowded with images you have worshiped. The vestry and vestments symbolize the old self's garments; when you re-dress yourself, you are choosing allegiance to the true Self. Jehu and Jehonadab enter as the decisive act of consciousness that asks for no servant of the LORD other than Baal. The instruction to purge all LORDs from the room becomes a directive to cleanse thought of competing loyalties. As the sacrifices proceed, a vow is spoken: guard against any escape, for clinging to false identities costs you the life of the old self. This inner judgment is not punishment, but the birth of the true worship—the realization that awareness is the sole ruler of your temple.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and, as Jehu of your own mind, command the house to be purged of every Baal belief. Revise one limiting story by affirming, 'I AM the only power; I worship truth in this moment.'
