Purging Inner Baal Assembly
2 Kings 10:19-21 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read 2 Kings 10 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Jehu gathers Baal’s prophets and worshippers, then destroys them in the house of Baal to eliminate Baal worship.
Neville's Inner Vision
This scene is a vivid map of the soul in action. The outward call to Baal’s assembly is the inner calling forth of every belief that has claimed authority in your life. The Baal idol represents any image you have worshipped apart from the I AM within you—fear, lack, or a sense of power separate from consciousness. Jehu’s cunning is your disciplined test: you invite all these beliefs to present themselves so you can clearly see what you have consented to as real. When the house of Baal is crowded, the mind has given power to these images; yet you, as I AM, declare sovereign rule and begin to dissolve them by replacing worship with true awareness. The act of destroying the worshippers is the moment your attention withdraws from the idol and surrenders to the single reality of being. Through inner decree and felt shift, you awaken the inner throne and establish genuine worship in your consciousness.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and call forth every Baal-like belief in your mind; then revise by affirming I AM as the only power and feel the idol dissolve as true worship arises.
