Samaria's Inner Cleansing
2 Kings 10:17 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Jehu arrives in Samaria and completes the purge of Ahab's lineage, fulfilling the LORD's word to Elijah.
Neville's Inner Vision
Samaria is your present state of consciousness; Ahab is the stubborn belief that you are ruled by lack, fear, or obedience to a false king. Jehu is the act of inner decision: the I AM awake and decisive, whose sword of attention sweeps clean what remains of that old dynasty. The LORD's word to Elijah is the inner decree that a new order is possible; when you truly hear it as law in your being, the remaining remnants of the old story must fall. The verse does not describe battle in a city, but the relinquishing of a long-taught narrative. As you align with that inner decree, completion arrives: the past conditions are destroyed in your mind, and a new sovereignty is established within you; the kingly authority of the I AM. Creation follows perception: you are not waiting for change, you are the change, and your imagination enacts the fulfillment of the prophecy in your present life. Judgment becomes accountability to your own state; you choose what rules you, and you cleanse it until nothing of the old king remains.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: In stillness, revise the inner sentence to I am the I AM, the old king is gone, and a new sovereignty rules within me now. Feel that reality fully and let this feeling guide your next choice as if it already is.
