Neville's Inner Vision
Beloved, the scene is not about history but about your inner alignment. Elijah’s statement 'If I be a man of God' is the declaration of the I AM within you—the sustained state that speaks and acts as reality. The fire that comes down is not punishment but the energy of conviction released by a fixed, unwavering consciousness. The captains and their demands are the outward recoil of your social self, the voice that says, 'Come down now,' to the truth you would rather appease. When you hold the state of 'I am,' the outer world rearranges to match that inner fact; storms of fear, people, and circumstance are simply the echoes of your previous identifications being consumed. The repeated demand and the repeated fire show that nothing external can override a fixed inner state. Your job is to return to the inner man or woman of God, to feel, not think, your real nature, and let that energy burn away the lesser self. Imagination creates reality; therefore, dwell in the certainty of your I AM and witness the outer scene respond.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and declare, 'I am the I AM,' and feel a steady flame of assurance burn away fear and the need to prove yourself.
