Grace, Mercy, Peace Within

2 John 1:3 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 2 John 1 in context

Scripture Focus

3Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.
2 John 1:3

Biblical Context

The verse offers a blessing of grace, mercy, and peace as gifts flowing from the divine source, to be received in truth and love. In Neville's view, these gifts are inner states of consciousness to be claimed here and now.

Neville's Inner Vision

Grace, Mercy, and Peace are not external favors but inner states summoned by your I AM. Grace is the awareness that you are loved and supported by the One Life; mercy is the softening of judgment toward yourself and others; peace is the settled calm of truth in which change moves without fear. When the verse speaks of God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, it signals that these gifts originate in the same divine consciousness you call I AM. Truth and love are not two commodities to chase; they are the two rays of your own inner sun. Dwell in truthful awareness and love, and grace, mercy, and peace flow through you, shaping your outer life to reflect your unity with the Father and the Son.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Close your eyes, repeat silently, 'I am Grace, I am Mercy, I am Peace,' and feel this truth saturating your heart. Then revise any sense of lack by affirming, 'The truth of my I AM here now is grace, mercy, and peace in action.'
