Grace Abounds Within
2 Corinthians 9:8-11 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read 2 Corinthians 9 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God provides abundant grace so you may always have sufficiency in all things and abound in every good work. Sowing and sharing multiplies blessings and results in thanksgiving.
Neville's Inner Vision
Imagine that grace is not a distant gift but the living state of your own consciousness. Paul speaks of God making all grace abound toward you, which means the energy you are aware of becomes more abundant as you identify with your I AM—the true, unconditioned you. When you feel sufficient in all things, you naturally turn toward every good work with ease; the seed God ministers to the sower is your idea that you can give and receive through imagination. The dispersal to the poor and the multiplication of seed show that supply follows an inner sense of plenty, not external luck. Do not chase tokens; revise your sense of lack until you awaken to the fact that you are enriched in every thing to all bountifulness. Your thanksgiving is the natural fruit of inner abundance, not a mere outward gesture. Return to this awareness daily: you are the gate through which grace flows, and by steadfast imaginative revision your actions become the radiant outer expression of that inner abundance.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Tonight, sit quietly and declare, 'I am the sufficiency of God in all things; grace enlivens my every moment.' Feel it as a living sensation in your chest and imagine sowing a seed that multiplies into plenty.
