2 Corinthians 9:2-4 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Paul praises the Corinthians' forwardness and zeal, boasting of their readiness to give. He cautions them to be prepared, lest Macedonia find them unprepared and his boasting be in vain.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within this verse the forwardness of your mind is not a ledger of funds but a state of consciousness moving toward truth and fellowship. Paul’s boasting is the reflection of an inner assurance—an I AM recognition that generosity already exists in potential before it appears in the hands. When he says Achaia was ready a year ago, he speaks of a mental condition that has already taken form in imagination and resolve; the outward gathering merely follows after the inner conviction. Your zeal provoked very many because zeal is the glow of a mind committed to unity, and such glow radiates outward, drawing others into alignment. The precaution about sending the brethren is a reminder that consciousness must rest in its own readiness; otherwise, outer circumstances will mirror indecision and the boast would be in vain. In Neville’s terms, you are asked to live as the I AM perceiving, and through that perception the scene becomes aligned. The inner and outer become one when belief is vivid enough to dominate the scene.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume the feeling: 'I am fully prepared now.' Revise any sense of delay as merely a memory past, and let the imagined room be filled with readiness.
