Generosity as Inner Supply
2 Corinthians 9:12-14 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Generosity meets the need of the saints and sparks thanksgiving to God. It glorifies the gospel through your liberal sharing and invites prayers for you because of the grace at work within you.
Neville's Inner Vision
Observe that to give is to awaken a state within you. The administration of this service is not a purse handing out coins but your own consciousness distributing its fullness. When you imagine you are the channel of abundance, the need you see in others is nourished by your inner trust that the gospel governs your supply. They glorify God because you have acknowledged that the grace of God reigns in you, and your liberality becomes a tangible sign of that inner grace. The praise you receive from others is their recognition of your completed shift, and their prayers for you flow from the sense that you live under the exceeding grace of God. So, live in the conviction that you are already the generous you—the one who holds the source—and let every act of giving be a confirmation of your state. In this way, generosity does not weaken you; it completes you in the sight of God and in the fellowship of all.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Sit quietly, breathe, and declare, 'I am abundance now'; imagine yourself as the generous channel, distributing this abundance to those in need, and feel the gratitude of God within you.
