Inner Readiness for Generosity
2 Corinthians 9:1-4 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Paul speaks of the readiness to minister to the saints and boasts of the Corinthians' zeal to the Macedonians. He even sends brothers to ensure they are truly prepared, lest his confident boasting be in vain.
Neville's Inner Vision
Consider the passage as an image of your inner economy. The saints are those you extend mercy to in your daily life; the ministering they receive is the proof that you are already generous in your I AM. Paul's boast about readiness is not about external accounts but about an inner disposition your mind's forwardness. When you discover that Achaia was ready a year ago, you discover that in your inner world, readiness is a known state, not an event to control later. The readiness of the apostle is a conscious invitation to you: do not leave your inner cupboards bare, and do not fear appearing unprepared in the face of life's Macedonia. The we that fears shame is the ego clinging to absence; the truth is that your awareness creates the conditions of giving. As you assume the feeling of already having given, you become an instrument by which blessings flow; your desire to help becomes a natural expression of your I AM, not a debt to be paid. The real readiness is faith in your own inner power to bless through intention.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Close your eyes and assume, right now, the state of readiness; mentally declare I am generous, I give freely, and feel the joy as if the act of giving has already occurred.
