Read 2 Corinthians 8 in context

Scripture Focus

18And we have sent with him the brother, whose praise is in the gospel throughout all the churches;
19And not that only, but who was also chosen of the churches to travel with us with this grace, which is administered by us to the glory of the same Lord, and declaration of your ready mind:
2 Corinthians 8:18-19

Biblical Context

This passage describes sending a trusted brother, widely praised for his gospel work, to accompany the apostles. He is chosen by the churches to carry this grace on their mission, underscoring shared purpose and a ready mind.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within this line the brother is a state of consciousness traveling with the I AM, the I you are when you imagine. The praise in the gospel is the living word you affirm in every chamber of your mind, praising the reality you intend until it becomes your experience. The act of being chosen by the churches points to how your inner communities, your beliefs, desires, and faculties, select this grace to bear witness on your behalf. This grace administered by us flows from the I AM through your imagination as you bless and uplift others. When you decree that the same Lord is glorious, you align your inner movements to one source, the self that never changes. Your ready mind is your present state of acceptance, a willingness to let the divine idea take form in your world. The outward work of mission and unity becomes the echo of your inner consent; the gospel you preach is the conviction you carry, and the travel with us is the ongoing movement of grace within your heart.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Assume the inner brother is already present, praising the gospel in every chamber of your mind, and feel the grace traveling with you as the I AM. Then revise any sense of lack into readiness and feel it real by affirming I AM that I Am guiding this mission.
