Inner Equality of Abundance

2 Corinthians 8:14 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 2 Corinthians 8 in context

Scripture Focus

14But by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may be a supply for their want, that their abundance also may be a supply for your want: that there may be equality:
2 Corinthians 8:14

Biblical Context

Paul speaks of equalizing generosity. Your abundance is to supply others' need, and their abundance can supply yours, creating equality.

Neville's Inner Vision

Read the line as a map of your inner economy. Abundance is not a purse you hand to another; it is the steady state of consciousness you reside in. In the I AM you, there is no separation between giving and receiving—only the movement toward balance. When you claim your present abundance, you invite the awareness of others to reflect that fullness back to you, and when you perceive another’s lack, recognize that you too have known lack in the past. By assuming that your abundance is for another’s want, you align your inner state with the law of equalizing flow. This is not charity as an external act, but a transformation of being: the feeling that there is always enough, already, in the one Life. Practice: dwell in the conviction “I am the source and channel of all supply,” revise any lackful belief, and imagine your surplus circulating to those in need and returning to you as reciprocity. In that imagination, the community is a reflection of your inner wholeness.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Sit quietly, breathe, and assume the feeling of abundance as your current state. See your surplus moving to others’ need, and notice that their abundance returns to you, aligning your life in an equal exchange.
