Willing Mind, Abundant Provision

2 Corinthians 8:12 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 2 Corinthians 8 in context

Scripture Focus

12For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not.
2 Corinthians 8:12

Biblical Context

If you cultivate a willing mind, you are judged by your inner state, not by what you lack. The emphasis is on willingness over capacity.

Neville's Inner Vision

Understand then that God is not measuring you by coins, but by the state of your awareness. The willing mind is the doorway through which your supply enters your life. When you imagine yourself as whole, you awaken the I AM that sustains all things, and providence becomes your inner atmosphere. Your acceptance depends on the form of your consciousness, not on what you lack; to the degree you feel generous with what you do possess whether in time, energy, or intention you give life to greater provision. The verse invites you to revise your sense of lack by assuming the feeling of fullness: see yourself already supplied and know that what you cannot do with earthly wealth you can accomplish with inner fullness, faith, and imagination. As you dwell in that state, your outer circumstances align to reflect your inner abundance. You are not asking for more; you are becoming more—an embodiment of the abundance you already are in the I AM.

Practice This Now

Assume a willing mind now: close your eyes, rest your hand on your chest, and say, I am willing to give and to receive according to the measure of my inner I AM. Feel as if you already possess the exact provision you need and let that feeling reverberate through your day.
