Read 2 Corinthians 7 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Paul asks to be received and declares he harmed no one. He says they are in each other's hearts and that his bold speech and joy arise despite tribulation.
Neville's Inner Vision
Receiving the passage as a map to inner states, you are invited to welcome a higher sense of self. We have wronged no man, we have corrupted no man, we have defrauded no man becomes a declaration that your current state bears no stain when you align with your being. I speak not this to condemn you means you release judgment and assume an unconditional acceptance of the state you desire. For I have said before, that ye are in our hearts to die and live with you expresses the truth that your heart is a single circle of consciousness where ego dies to live in love with the new state. Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying of you is the confident assertion of the I AM expressing your reality. I am filled with comfort, I am exceeding joyful in all our tribulation shows how the inner state transfigures trouble into joy and power. The whole passage is an inner manifesto, a practice in alignment rather than proof in form.
Practice This Now
Sit quietly and assume the scene that you are received into your own heart; feel limitation dropping away. Then silently say I have harmed no one and I live in love with all, dwelling in the boldness and joy that follows as if this state is already true.
