Inner Riches, Sorrowful Joy
2 Corinthians 6:10 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verse presents a paradox: sorrowful yet rejoicing, poor yet rich in spirit, having nothing, yet possessing all things; it speaks to inner states rather than outer facts.
Neville's Inner Vision
Viewed through the I AM, the lines do not demand life to change in appearance but to awaken in consciousness. Sorrow is not denied, yet it is transmuted by the unshakable awareness that God is within you. The terms poor and rich point to your inner correspondence with abundance; you may have little in the wallet, but if your awareness is aligned with the I AM, you are rich beyond measure. The outer appearance signals a state; the real treasury lies in dwelling in the end: that you already possess all things. When you feel lack, practice a quiet revision: in the theater of your mind, see yourself as prosperous, generous, and complete. Let gratitude fill you until it feels more real than circumstance. The paradox is resolved when you realize nothing is truly lacking to the I AM that you are. You are not defined by conditions; you are defined by awareness. Therefore sorrow can coexist with rejoicing, because you are forever whole in God, and wealth is the natural expression of your inner state.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, assume the end: you already possess all things now. Feel it real as you breathe, repeating I AM wealth and I possess all things.
