Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Paul states we labor to be approved by God, in both presence and absence. The core message is that acceptance arises from our inner state, not external appearances.
Neville's Inner Vision
Your labor, as Paul speaks of it, is the deliberate cultivation of a state, not external toil. Whether you imagine yourself in the company of others or feel alone, both conditions are inner movements of your consciousness. God is the I AM, the unchanging awareness within you, and acceptance is the natural atmosphere of that awareness. When I claim I am accepted by the I AM, I am not asking for favor; I am recognizing what is already mine by the nature of consciousness. As you hold that assumption, you revise your outward experience; the present moment and the moment of absence melt into one stream of being. The outer scene shifts to reflect your inner harmony, because imagination creates reality. The call is to labour by remaining faithful to the truth of your identity, to trust this inner fact, and to live from it today. If you awaken with a sense of unworthiness, do not bargain with lack—return to the feeling of acceptance and let it rule your thoughts and actions.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume the felt experience: I am accepted by the I AM, right here and now. Sit with that state for five minutes, letting the sensation of acceptance color every thought and action.
