Scripture Focus

21For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
2 Corinthians 5:21

Biblical Context

2 Corinthians 5:21 presents a divine exchange: Christ bore sin so you might become the righteousness of God in Him. The emphasis here is on inner identity rather than external reform—awareness is the transformative power.

Neville's Inner Vision

Let this verse be read as a law of consciousness. God does not condemn you to sin; He redefines you in the One who knew no sin, so that you might be the righteousness of God in Him. The 'him' who is made sin is your old self-identity, the story you tell yourself about being separate from God. In truth, your I AM is already the righteousness you seek; identify with that I AM, and the outer appearances begin to reflect it. This is not a moral upgrade but a shift of inner identification. When you imagine yourself as the consciousness in which God dwells, you cease to be ruled by guilt and you awaken to the fact that you are already clean, accepted, and holy in Christ. Persist in this awareness, and the world around you answers from the same state of being, matching your inner truth.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, place a hand on your heart, and affirm: I am the righteousness of God in Christ. Hold that feeling-state until it becomes your dominant sense of self.
