Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God was in Christ, reconciling the world and not counting trespasses; we are given the word of reconciliation and act as ambassadors, inviting all to be reconciled to God.
Neville's Inner Vision
In this verse, you are asked to see the I AM within active as God in Christ, reconciling every seeming separation. The world does not stand outside, but as your own inner weather—the belief of separation you hold to until you drop it. When Paul says God was in Christ, he points to the timeless act of consciousness that forgives by not imputation. To the one who awakens, the other's trespasses are not charged against them, for you have learned to withdraw the debt from the ledger of your inner life. Now, you are entrusted with the word of reconciliation—in other words, you carry the imagination that makes peace possible. As ambassadors for Christ, you speak not to others as if they stand apart, but as God beseeching through your awareness. The call is to be reconciled to God by assuming that you stand in a state where every 'other' is loved and forgiven in your own awareness. When you align with this, you discover you are not pleading with God, but listening to the I AM within who already reconciles all things.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes; assume you are the ambassador of Christ in your own consciousness. Repeat softly, 'God has reconciled the world in me,' and feel the forgiveness settling into your heart now.
