Read 2 Corinthians 5 in context

Scripture Focus

19To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
2 Corinthians 5:19

Biblical Context

Paul states that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself and not imputing trespasses; believers are entrusted with the word of reconciliation.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within this text the 'world' is not an object out there but the content of your own inner field. God, the I AM, dwells as the Christ in you, and in that living state every perception of separation is gently dissolved. When you suppose that the world is already reconciled to your awareness, you stop imputing trespasses to others or to yourself, and you feel the release of judgment. The word of reconciliation is given to you as a creative instrument: you are invited to keep in mind the unity of all life and to speak as if it already is so. The sacrifice and atonement lie not in blood or history, but in a shift of consciousness—an inner cancellation of guilt, a recalibration of your state of being toward harmony and grace. As you rest in the I AM, the sense of distance between you and another fades, and you perceive that God and you are one, now. The world around you becomes a mirror of your inner reconciliation, not its cause or proof.

Practice This Now

Assume the truth that you are already reconciled; feel the grace as a living presence within. When judgment arises toward someone, revise the scene in imagination and declare, 'We are one in the I AM,' then let the feeling of peace real throughout your day.
