New Creature Consciousness
2 Corinthians 5:16-21 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Paul says we no longer know anyone by outward appearance, and in Christ we are a new creation where the old has passed away. God reconciles us to Himself through Christ and gives us the ministry of reconciliation.
Neville's Inner Vision
Consider the scene not as historical events but as your inner state. To know no man after the flesh is to refuse the habit of outer judgments and to awaken to the truth that in Christ you are a new creation. The 'old things' are your former identifications—the beliefs about who you are and how life should behave. In this moment of inner recognition, God, who is your I AM, is at work within you, reconciling you to yourself and, through you, reconciling the world. The cross is not punishment but a shift of consciousness: sin is not a ledger of trespasses, but the old narrative dissociated from your present awareness. You become an ambassador because you now bear the message of reconciliation—strike the distance between the human and the divine by assuming you are already in harmony with the whole. The world is drawn to you as you live from that inner oneness; your thoughts align with the not imputing trespasses principle, and your relationships reflect the reality you imagine.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and declare, 'I am in Christ, a new creature; I am reconciled in the I AM.' Revise your next thoughts to reflect reconciliation and feel the reality as if it already is.
