Seeing Beyond the Temporal

2 Corinthians 4:18 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 2 Corinthians 4 in context

Scripture Focus

18While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
2 Corinthians 4:18

Biblical Context

The verse invites focusing on unseen realities rather than the visible world.

Neville's Inner Vision

We are told not to fix our gaze on what is seen, for the seen are only the outer form of an inner state. In truth, God, the I AM within you, awakens your life through the unseen, which is eternal. Your outer circumstances mirror your inner beliefs and feelings. When you claim that the unseen is real and longer-lasting, you align with the power that creates form. The visible world shudders to the rhythm of your inner conviction; eternity is tethered to the perfection of your inner state. Make your inner vision primary: imagine the end and dwell there until it saturates every facet of your awareness. The tension between appearance and reality dissolves as you remain faithful to the inner scent of truth, the conviction that you are already that which you seek, within the timeless now.

Practice This Now

Assume the feeling of the wish fulfilled for several minutes, then return to ordinary life, carrying the inner scene as your present reality.
