To the inner seeker, this verse reveals a psychological law: the power that awakened the Lord Jesus is the I AM within you, the consciousness that animates form. If that same life could raise Jesus from the tomb, it can awaken your own being and your relations, through the inner Christ—the divine impulse within you. Resurrection then is not a distant event to fear or chase; it is a shift in awareness. Belief in separation is the tomb; the realization that you are one with the I AM dissolves it. You are already raised in the mind that conceived you; every seeming problem is a belief about death. By inhabiting the awareness of unity—that you are presented together with those you love in the light of your true self—you replace fear with the knowledge of life. The verse invites you to live from an inner kingdom where life and companionship are your natural state, and faith is the instrument by which this state is claimed in present experience.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and, in the next few minutes, assume you are already raised. Feel the life flowing through you and those you cherish as present reality, and quietly affirm, 'I am raised by the power within me.'
