Spirit of Faith Awakening
2 Corinthians 4:13-16 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read 2 Corinthians 4 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The passage speaks of a shared faith spoken into life, trusting that the risen life will raise us together. It also confirms that outward decay cannot hinder the daily renewal of the inward man.
Neville's Inner Vision
Beloved, the spirit of faith is not a distant doctrine but a state of consciousness you occupy. I believed, therefore I spoke; you believe, therefore you speak. Your inner word is the seed planted in the universal mind, and the one who raised Jesus—the living Christ within—will also raise you through that inner conviction. All things are for your sakes, not to punish but to grace your life into expression. When you give thanks for every circumstance, you facilitate an abundance that redounds to the glory of God in your own soul. Faint not, for the outward man may perish, but the inward man is renewed day by day by your persistent assumption. The resurrection is your reawakening to who you truly are: the same I AM that raised Jesus is the very awareness shaping your experiences now; you are not waiting for life, you are the life that awakens it.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and, in your imagination, assume the state of the risen life within you; repeat 'I am renewed day by day' and 'I believe, therefore I speak' until it feels real.
