2 Corinthians 4:1

Biblical Context

We are entrusted with a ministry and the mercy to carry it out. Therefore we do not faint or quit, no matter the pressure.

Neville's Inner Vision

All the so called ministry is an inner activity of your own consciousness, summoned by the mercy you awaken within. The verse speaks of the state you already stand in, not a task imposed from outside. When you know you have this ministry, you stand as the I AM aware of itself, a steadfast center that does not faint. Mercy is not a favor granted from without but your own awareness generously extended to your self, the inner I that never abandons you. This persistence is the natural expression of your true state, and thus the refusal to faint arises from the assumption that your end is already present in imagination. In daily life, the inner law works thus: belief in the end becomes the visible experience; feeling the wish fulfilled becomes your daily atmosphere; and the world aligns to that inner conviction. So the mercy you have received is energy you now pour forth as perseverance, an ongoing ministry of awareness that cannot be quenched by circumstance.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, breathe into the I AM within, and declare that you have this ministry and the mercy to sustain it now. Feel that your inner state is already the reality and carry that feeling into your day with steady persistence.
