Lifting The Veil Within Presence

2 Corinthians 3:13 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 2 Corinthians 3 in context

Scripture Focus

13And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:
2 Corinthians 3:13

Biblical Context

Moses covered his face to hide the fading glory of the old covenant; the veil represents belief in outward forms. The inner reading shows the end of that order is realized by turning to the I AM within.

Neville's Inner Vision

Think of Moses' veil as the collective habit of looking to outward law and performances. The end of that which is abolished is not a deadline, but a shift in consciousness: the old covenant fades when one looks not to it but within to the I AM. In your inner scripture, the veil drops when you acknowledge that you are the steady Presence, and the law's 'ministration' is but a fading glory. As you dwell in the awareness I AM, you gaze beyond the veil and witness the same divine life in every moment. The outward 'mysteries' dissolve into simple, present reality: God is not far but within, and the visible world is the effect of your inner state. Do not seek to mend the past by outward obedience; revise your sense of self until you feel the end of lack already accomplished in presence.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Sit quietly and, with your breath, affirm I AM as your present state; revise your sense of self to the unchanging inner presence and feel the veil lift, revealing the illuminated self.
