Enduring Glory Within

2 Corinthians 3:10-11 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 2 Corinthians 3 in context

Scripture Focus

10For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth.
11For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious.
2 Corinthians 3:10-11

Biblical Context

All glory tied to outward forms is temporary and eclipsed by a greater, lasting glory. What remains is the enduring, inner radiance of consciousness that truly defines you.

Neville's Inner Vision

Paul’s contrast speaks to your inner state, not to a distant history. The glory that was once glorious belongs to the fading forms of the old covenant—appearances that shine only as long as you identify with them. The true, enduring glory is the unchanging I AM, your perpetual awareness that remains when forms come and go. When you cease clinging to events, identities, or external proofs and turn to this inner brightness, you discover that the “remaineth” is not absent but present as your very sense of being. The old signs—favors, rituals, or accolades—dissolve into light as you claim a higher consciousness, the covenant of your true self. Your imagination becomes the instrument by which you revise the scene: affirm that the former glory is superseded by this greater radiance, and align your feeling with its reality. Do not seek the outward; dwell in the inner perpetuity, and salvation and redemption unfold as expressions of the one I AM within you.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Sit quietly and affirm, 'I am the enduring glory that remains' and feel this truth saturating your being until it replaces any sense of lack or change.
