Read 2 Corinthians 2 in context

Scripture Focus

9For to this end also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether ye be obedient in all things.
2 Corinthians 2:9

Biblical Context

Paul writes to test if they will be obedient in every matter.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within the I AM, obedience is not a rule imposed from without but a state of consciousness you inhabit. The 'proof' is the constancy of your inner life—your imagination aligned with the divine principle within—so that every response arises from that inner law rather than fear, habit, or outward pressure. When you picture a scene, you are rehearsing your action from your true state, not merely seeking to appear compliant. The test of 'all things' fades as you hold the inner position: steady, faithful, and unshaken by appearances. The moment you dwell from that inner state, outward events reflect your settled consciousness. Therefore the verse invites you to know obedience as an inner discipline, whose proof shows up as harmony between the living I AM within and your exterior life.

Practice This Now

Assume you are obedient in all things now and feel-it-real the I AM guiding your every action. If doubt arises, revise the scene until your inner state remains unshaken.
