Rest Within: Inner Titus

2 Corinthians 2:13 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 2 Corinthians 2 in context

Scripture Focus

13I had no rest in my spirit, because I found not Titus my brother: but taking my leave of them, I went from thence into Macedonia.
2 Corinthians 2:13

Biblical Context

The speaker cannot rest because Titus, a trusted brother, is not found; after bidding farewell to others, he departs to Macedonia.

Neville's Inner Vision

I tell you plainly, you are not seeking facts but states. The unrest you feel when Titus, your inner helper, is not present is a signal that your awareness has identified with a lack rather than with the I AM. The moment you realize that Titus is the thought-form you wear as confidence, you can simply revise: 'In the presence of the I AM, I am always accompanied by my inner Titus; no absence can disturb my rest.' The journey to Macedonia is not external travel but a shift of attention—from a state of not-yet-ness to a kingdom of action in consciousness. Macedonia becomes the inner territory where you act from your spiritual victory, where rest is found in the certainty that you are already complete in God. Your awareness moves by choice, not by external circumstance; rest is the natural condition when imagination embraces the truth that you are always with your inner companion.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and declare, 'I am always with my inner Titus; the I AM provides all rest.' Feel the rest spreading through your spine and mind as you imagine stepping into your inner Macedonia.
