Perfection Through Inner Strength
2 Corinthians 13:9-10 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Paul expresses gladness when weakness and strength coexist and desires your perfection. He writes while absent so he can edify, not destroy, by the power the Lord has given for building up.
Neville's Inner Vision
Your true condition is not the body's weakness or another's seeming strength, but the inner state you dare to occupy. Paul calls weakness 'gladness' because in that very space the I AM within awakens a stronger action. When you assent to 'the power of the Lord given to me to edify,' you are naming the inner decree: I am the strength that builds. Perfection is not a distant achievement but the steady alignment of your inner consciousness with its divine image. The absent writer relies on a present assumption: the state of being is sovereign, and the words you speak in memory or meditation shape what appears. If you feel compelled to fortify others with sharpness, soften it by recalling that you are the instrument of constructive power. In your world, formation follows consciousness. Hold the assurance that you are the creator through inner acts, and your relationships and circumstances will reflect your perfected state. The practice is not chasing after perfection but assuming it and letting your inner voice do the work of edification.
Practice This Now
Sit quietly and assume the state, 'I am the strength within; I edify with every thought.' Then address someone in thought as already perfected, and feel that image as your present reality.
