Inward Faith and Truth
2 Corinthians 13:5-8 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Paul urges self-examination to see whether you are truly in the faith and to know that Christ is within you. The call is to act honestly, aligned with truth, not for appearances of approval.
Neville's Inner Vision
Examine yourself as a creator, not as a slave to circumstance. The verse invites you to notice your present state of consciousness and to revise it until it becomes in harmony with the truth you desire. When Paul declares that Christ is in you, he is naming the I AM—the constant awareness that you are already whole. You cannot depart from truth, for truth is the nature of your being; what changes is your inner image of yourself. So, treat any claim of distance or failure as a signal to return to your true state, not as evidence of loss. Your job is to maintain fidelity to honesty and to the life that faith implies. The moment you decide, inwardly, that the living Christ is present and active in your thoughts and choices, your outer world slowly follows into alignment. Do not seek approval from others to prove yourself; let the quiet assurance within do the proving by the steady practice of being true to what you know.
Practice This Now
Sit quietly, close your eyes, and imagine you are already where you wish to be—Christ within you, I AM, fully awake. Then act today from that state of honesty, noticing that the world must reflect your inner truth.
