Power Through Weakness Within

2 Corinthians 13:3-4 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 2 Corinthians 13 in context

Scripture Focus

3Since ye seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, which to you-ward is not weak, but is mighty in you.
4For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you.
2 Corinthians 13:3-4

Biblical Context

Paul asserts that Christ speaks with power through him, despite outward weakness; believers live by God’s power at work within them.

Neville's Inner Vision

Verse 3–4 speaks not of two natures separated from you but of the one I AM awakening in the believer. When you seek proof of Christ speaking in me, you are invited to feel the vitality of the inner Word. Outward weakness is not the measure of truth; the life moving beneath appearances is the power of God flowing in you, around you, as you. In Neville’s fashion, see that the crucifixion is a symbolic death of limitation, not a punishment; through that 'weakness' the inner power is released. You too are 'weak in him'—not to remain weak, but to join a higher life that is already alive within you. The Resurrection becomes experiential now as you persist in the inner conviction: the power of God toward you manifests as courage, clarity, and love; your external field mirrors that inner reality. Salvation and redemption are not distant events but present states of consciousness, activated by your decision to live as the I AM in you.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Sit quietly, place your hand on your chest, and repeat, 'I am the power of God speaking through me now.' Then revise any scene of weakness to one where the inner Christ lives and acts through you, felt as real in your body.
