Biblical Context

Paul's farewell invites inner alignment: cultivate perfection, comfort, unity, and peace, trusting that the God of love and peace accompanies you.

Neville's Inner Vision

From the Neville Goddard perspective, the verses reveal not a distant blessing but an inner state you assume. The 'God of love and peace' is the I AM you are awakening to; when you choose to be 'perfect' and 'of good comfort', you are not changing externals but shifting consciousness. 'Be of one mind' becomes the alignment of your inner faculties toward harmony, and 'live in peace' is the stable mood of awareness in which every thought, feeling, and sensation rests in unity. Greeting one another with a holy kiss is a symbolic acknowledgment of the fellow inner aspects within your own consciousness; saints salute you because you are now the field in which all saints exist. The grace of Jesus, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost are not separate entities arriving but the three aspects of consciousness (truth, love, communion) resting with you now. As you dwell in this triune presence, you experience the divine atmosphere as your life.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and feel the state: I am one with the God of love and peace. Then imagine greeting your inner self with a holy kiss, affirming that grace, love, and communion are with you now.
