11Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.
2 Corinthians 13:11

Biblical Context

Paul exhorts believers to become perfect, comforted, and united in peace, with the God of love and peace accompanying that inner state. In plain terms, inner harmony is the goal and the presence of God accompanies that inner state.

Neville's Inner Vision

This line is not about outward performance, but about a shift in your inner state. 'Brethren' are the divides in your own consciousness; 'be perfect' is to align every facet of your inner life with the one I AM, your true self. To be of good comfort is to choose relief from fear, to dwell in the certainty of the God of love and peace who already resides as your awareness. 'Be of one mind' means harmonize your thoughts so that your inner voice is not torn by conflict but unified by love. 'Live in peace' is not a demand of behavior alone but a natural condition of awareness when you stop resisting the present moment with lack or separation. And the promise, 'the God of love and peace shall be with you,' is the assurance that this presence is your own I AM, ever with you as you dwell in that alignment. Practice: assume you already are the very peace you seek; revise any sense of separation; feel the presence of love enveloping you.

Practice This Now

Tonight, close your eyes, assume you are already perfectly whole and united in one mind with all that is. Feel it-real by repeating, 'I am one with the God of love and peace' until the sense of separation dissolves.
