Glorying Through Weakness
2 Corinthians 12:5-6 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Paul says he will glory in infirmities, not in himself, and will speak truth while withholding glory so others won't misread him.
Neville's Inner Vision
Paul’s words invite you to claim a truth the ego resists: your life is governed by the I AM, not by the body or the outward image. The “infirmities” are not accidents to lament but inner states that reveal the power of God when faced with settled awareness. When you declare, ‘I glory not in myself but in mine infirmities,’ you are choosing to let the inner reality stand as the author of your story, rather than the appearances you fear. The fool chases praise; the wise recognize that the glory belongs to the I AM within, which remains constant while symptoms or circumstances shift. By forbearance you train the mind to hold truth without needing the world’s agreement, to keep your center intact even when others speak of you. If you imagine a limitation, treat it as a doorway through which the divine can act; insist that the inner self is the power that writes your life. Practically, you can begin now by identifying one supposed weakness and repeating, quietly, ‘I am the I AM; this is the ground of power within me.’
Practice This Now
Practice: close your eyes and, when a limitation surfaces, assume 'I am the I AM,' feeling that power flowing through the seeming weakness; hold that feeling for a minute and let your sense of self align with the divine I AM.
