Biblical Context
Paul describes an ascent to the third heaven, an inner realm opened by God. He notes that paradise is reached and its words are unspeakable.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within the text, the 'third heaven' is not a distant sky but a state of consciousness you can enter now. The 'man' who was caught up represents your own I AM awareness when it turns away from ordinary concerns and leans into the voice of God within. Paradise is not property of place but a tranquil alignment of imagination with truth—an inner sanctuary where words fall short because the experience transcends mental speech. The claim that he could not tell whether in or out of the body signals that the self cannot measure its own ascent; awareness simply is, and the world around it is secondary to the inward visitation. When you dare to assume you are already dwelling in that realm, you invite a revision of your present conditions. The senses obey the new mapping, and what you previously called impossible becomes spoken through felt truth rather than language. Remember: God is your I AM, and the very act of willing your consciousness into paradise acts as the channel through which miracles move.
Practice This Now
In the next few minutes, sit quietly, close your eyes, and assume you are already in paradise now. Feel the peace, hear no words, and let that state realign your sense of self.
