Abundant Love, Inner Wealth

2 Corinthians 12:15-16 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 2 Corinthians 12 in context

Scripture Focus

15And I will very gladly spend and be spent for you; though the more abundantly I love you, the less I be loved.
16But be it so, I did not burden you: nevertheless, being crafty, I caught you with guile.
2 Corinthians 12:15-16

Biblical Context

Paul says he will gladly spend and be spent for them, even if his love is not equally returned; he notes that he did not burden them and hints at being accused of craftiness.

Neville's Inner Vision

Your inner life is the currency of love. The Apostle’s vow to spend and be spent expresses the I AM’s abundance within you: you give all your attention, energy, and resources from the true you, and you do so irrespective of outer response. When he says that the more abundantly he loves, the less he is loved, he reveals an inner law: outer reciprocation mirrors your inner state. If you seek return yet feel lack, you are living in limitation rather than in the fullness of the I AM. The charge of craftiness points to the ego habit of disguising true consent as clever manipulation. In reality your work is with the I AM; your practice is to be consciously the love you wish to receive. Enter every scene as the one who is already complete, and watch how others reflect your inner self. Let your generosity be a pure movement of grace, not a bargaining chip, and allow the inner posture of unconditional love to reform both your heart and your world.

Practice This Now

Assume the feeling that you are already abundantly loved by the I AM. Spend and be spent in imagination for someone you would bless, feeling the inner wealth flow; do this and observe how your outer circumstances begin to align with that inner state.
