Inner Care, Outer Proof

2 Corinthians 11:28-31 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 2 Corinthians 11 in context

Scripture Focus

28Beside those things that are without, that which cometh upon me daily, the care of all the churches.
29Who is weak, and I am not weak? who is offended, and I burn not?
30If I must needs glory, I will glory of the things which concern mine infirmities.
31The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is blessed for evermore, knoweth that I lie not.
2 Corinthians 11:28-31

Biblical Context

Paul speaks of the daily cares he bears for the churches, and of his own weakness and being offended without collapse. He declares he will boast in his infirmities, and that God knows the truth of his words.

Neville's Inner Vision

Envision this: the verse is not a report of outward events but a map of your inner states. The 'care of all the churches' is the burden you carry in imagination for every facet of your life; the 'weak' you seem to encounter is simply a believing state that you are identifying with at the moment. When you hear, 'Who is weak, and I am not weak?', recognize that you are on the brink of a decisive shift in consciousness, where you choose to align with the I AM rather than the appearance. The boast about infirmities is a blessing in disguise: you welcome the limiting feelings as signposts pointing you to your inner strength. By affirming that the God and Father within knows you lie not, you reaffirm the truth of your present state and revoke the lie of separation. The practice is to revise by assuming the identity of the I AM, feeling its certainty, until the outward form echoes the inner truth.

Practice This Now

Practice: assume the I AM is within you now, feel that care moving through every part; revise any sense of weakness by stating 'I am strong, I lie not,' and dwell in the feeling that this is your present reality.
