Read 2 Corinthians 11 in context

Scripture Focus

20For ye suffer, if a man bring you into bondage, if a man devour you, if a man take of you, if a man exalt himself, if a man smite you on the face.
2 Corinthians 11:20

Biblical Context

Paul notes that believers suffer from those who would bind, devour, take, exalt themselves, or strike. These experiences reveal the believer's inner stance and invite humility and love.

Neville's Inner Vision

These lines are not about external villains; they are about the conditioning of your consciousness. When you suffer bondage, or feel devoured, or others take from you, or they exalt themselves or strike you, you are encountering a picture of a belief you hold about yourself. The 'oppressor' is the state of mind in which you still consent to limitation. The remedy is to awaken in the I AM, to revise the scene by adopting a higher state: you are free, unbound, abundantly supplied, and at ease in every exchange. See the other as a projection of your own mind, a mirror showing where you still fear losing power or love. In that light, mercy and humility are not weakness but the strongest stance: you do not resist; you bless; you claim your inner ruler. When you persist in the feeling 'I AM free now; I rule in love,' the outer events shift to reflect that inner reality. Until then, the tale continues; when you shift, the story dissolves into harmony.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and revise the scene: declare 'I AM free and unbound' and feel that ruling energy now. Let that sensation permeate every interaction as you breathe.
