Inner Discernment Against Deception
2 Corinthians 11:13-15 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Paul warns that some who claim to speak for Christ are not true; deceitful workers masquerade as apostles, and Satan can appear as an angel of light. Therefore, appearances deceive, and the outcome follows the consciousness that entertains them.
Neville's Inner Vision
Verse 13-15 speaks plainly: some who cry 'apostle' are not true messengers, and even the great deceiver can take on the garb of light. In Neville's practice, this is a map of your inner weather. The outer world is a mirror of the states you accept as real. If you dwell in fear, you will see those fears wearing the robes of authority. If you entertain the belief that you lack something essential, you will attract figures that promise power but offer you limitation. When you forget your true I AM, you become vulnerable to ministers of righteousness wearing counterfeit robes. The antidote is to awaken the awareness that you are the one who creates by belief. Decide in your imagination that you already stand in truth and abundance; refuse to identify with any voice that gnaws at your peace. The end of these false ministers is simply the end of the state that gave them birth; shift the state, and the appearance dissolves into light.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume the end: you are awake, complete, and the source of all light. Feel the truth of your I AM; when a doubtful thought arises, revise it by declaring, 'I AM awake to light' until it feels real.
