Inner Measure of Ministry

Biblical Context
Paul teaches that ministry is measured by the divine rule given to us, not by boasting beyond our allotted capacity. We preach to you within that measure and trust your faith will enlarge our reach.
Neville's Inner Vision
Notice that Paul’s statement encodes a truth about consciousness: ministry is not a boastful achievement, but a state measured by the divine rule within. The 'measure' and the 'rule' are not external quotas but the God-given state of awareness—the I AM you are. To boast of things beyond your measure is to mistake your inner state for another's success; to preach within your measure is to let your inner truth speak through you. The gospel you share is the Christ in you awakened by imagination and faith, not a borrowed labor. When your faith increases—when you accept as real the end you desire—your inner measure enlarges and your outward outreach arises in harmony with that correction. You will not stretch beyond your internal rule; you reach as far as your consciousness allows, and your 'labor' becomes blessed in proportion to your fidelity to that inner distribution. Thus the mission and the witness become one living state of awareness, growing outward from the sure foundation of I AM.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Close your eyes and assume you are already operating within your God-given measure, feeling the I AM expanding your capacity. Then revise any sense of lack with, 'My faith is increased, and I am enlarged by the rule within me,' dwelling in that feeling-real for a minute.
